This Privacy Notice embodies how we may collect, use, disclose and dispose your personal data or sensitive information as well as your rights as owners of this personal data. • Contact Number

• City/Province

• Personal Story (Text & Video format)

• Photos and video submissions

Sensitive Personal Information

• Age

• Medical Background related to scars

Purpose of Data Collection

The data will be collected and processed solely for the following purposes:

• To review and evaluate candidate applications for The Scar Project

• To contact selected individuals for interviews, treatments, and documentation

• To feature the selected participants’ transformation stories across social media, website, and other communication materials (with consent)

• To ensure medical feasibility and safety of the procedures

• For internal program development and documentation

Protection Measures

We take appropriate organizational, physical and technical security measures to protect your personal information and data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, considering the risks involved in the processing and the nature of the personal information and data.

Data Sharing & Access

Your information will only be accessed by the following:

• Belo Medical Group’s authorized team handling The Scar Project

• Partner medical professionals responsible for the treatment

• Creative & production teams for content development (interviews, videos, posts)

• Legal and compliance officers (for screening and consent)

We do not disclose personal information to anyone else except as set out above unless we have your consent or we are legally obliged to do so.

Storage and Retention

• All personal data submitted through our form and digital channels will be stored securely in encrypted cloud storage or internal systems accessible only to authorized personnel.

• We will retain this data for a maximum of one (1) year after the project concludes or as long as needed for documentation, with your consent.

Disposal of Personal Data:

Once the project is completed and the retention period expires:

• Digital records will be securely deleted or anonymized

• Physical records (if any) will be shredded or disposed of properly

Rights of the Data Subject

You may access, correct, update, request deletion or request for a copy of your personal information. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the data we collect is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and up to date.
